Compensation & Pay Range

Starting base salary : $41,717+ for Bachelor\'s Degree in Early Childhood Education

Compensation listed above is based on the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning Salary Schedule. Candidates will be offered a salary using the education, credential and teaching certificate information provided on the schedule. Higher salary will be paid for a higher teaching certificate level.

Teacher Responsibilities

What\'s it like to be a teacher at our school?

• Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child\'s education and development.
• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
• Georgia Certified Teacher preferred.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
• Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is preferred.
• Passion for working with young children
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies
