Certified Montessori Georgia PreK Lead Teacher

We are a respected Montessori preschool located in Decatur, Georgia, committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Our school values Montessori principles and offers a holistic approach to early childhood education. We are looking for a Montessori trained teacher for newly added Georgia Pre-K classroom.

Job Responsibilities :

• Serve as a Primary Guide in a Montessori classroom, implementing Montessori principles and curriculum to foster independence, creativity, and a love for learning among young children.
• Create and maintain a prepared Montessori environment that supports the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities based on Montessori philosophy.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all students.
• As a Georgia Pre-K classroom teacher, implement the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and curriculum guidelines.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development and prepares children for future academic success.
• Establish strong partnerships with families, encouraging involvement in their child's education and development.
