Primary responsibilities as a Tax Accountant would include the responsibility of the company's annual premium tax returns, preparing state / sales / personal property tax returns, as well as assisting with the preparation of federal filings for all affiliates of the organization. Additional responsibilities of the Tax Accountant :

  • Engage in annual tax filing reviews
  • Responsible for fixed assets
  • Manage the state surcharge rate changes
  • Research discrepancies in tax related activities

Basic requirements for the Tax Accountant :

  • 4-5 years of experience in related tax work
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • CPA preferred
  • Charter designations preferred

    • Location : 100% on-site for candidates within a commutable range within Greater Fort Wayne

    Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 Depending upon experience
