Location : New York, NY (Hybrid opportunity – 3 days in Manhattan office)

Description : We are seeking an associate to add to our Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation team to support our growing business, with a specific focus on NYS Labor Law and personal injury litigation practice. Given the global nature of our firm and broad reach of practice, this role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices.

Responsibilities :

• Research Construction Labor Law and personal injury issues, and collaborate with senior attorneys to devise related defense strategies
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage discovery (including electronic discovery)
• Participate in trial / ADR proceedings
• Represent clients at courtroom conferences and motion appearances
• Manage day-to-day aspects of Labor Law and personal injury files, under supervision
• The firm requires a minimum of 1900 billable hours annually
