We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial planning and analysis for a global oil and gas equipment organization. This pivotal role involves driving strategic initiatives, enhancing financial performance, and ensuring compliance across international operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a proven track record in cost accounting and FP& A within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a global team of financial professionals, including project accountants, cost accountants, and analysts.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for long-term projects and diverse revenue streams.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership while ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes.
• Collaborate with regional and operational teams to develop annual plans, update forecasts, and evaluate profitability by product line and geography.
• Manage project accounting for percentage-of-completion contracts, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and adherence to financial controls.
• Conduct data-driven analytics and scenario modeling to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with established financial policies and regulations.
• Enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial reporting processes.
• Implement improvements in forecasting, project tracking, and performance measurement tools and methodologies.
• Provide financial leadership and insights on cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and FP& A within a global manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in cost accounting and strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational levels.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with tools like Hyperion Financial Management or Oracle is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvement initiatives, including automation tools such as Alteryx or Power Query.
• Strong ability to manage complex financial operations and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
