Shift : B Crew : (Tuesday-Friday) 6pm-6am (overtime available

Pay Rate : $30 / hr

OVERVIEW :

• The Warehouse Supervisor serves as support to the Materials Manager and the Master Schedulers of the Materials Department.
• Train shipping and receiving employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, assist with appraising performances, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ensure the area is fully staffed to meet the material movement needs.
• Provide support for the Material Tech in the event of vacation, absences, or call-in day.
• Responsible for covering docks in between shifts.
• Provide support to the Materials department with day-to-day shipping and receiving tasks.
• Perform Ford eDDL / CMMS training to respond to customer notices.
• Maintain and monitor communication board(s).
• Provide support to other facilities (as required) as backup to cover for vacations / absences.
• You must possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulation,s as well as write reports, business correspondence, and other documentation as requested.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
