Director Of Outlet Operations
The Director Of Outlet Operations will manage the day-to-day operation of all food and beverage outlets. The Director is responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the Food And Beverage Outlets in accordance with company policy, procedures, and standards. The director directs, implements, and maintains a service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Special Qualifications, Education, or Licenses :
- Experience, skills, and certification
- 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Manager's Safe Serve permit required
- TABC required

Supervise the day-to-day operation of all food and beverage outletsImplement and maintain all Sonesta service brand standardsWork closely with the Executive Chef and the Director of Operations to ensure all menus and offerings remain relevantCreate innovative programs and promotions to market special menu items, increase guest patronage, and boost salesWork closely with the hotel's Marketing Team to promote outlets on various social communication platformsMonitor the performance of the outlets through analysis of feedback and financial results and create corrective actions as neededKeep a detailed log of the Outlets' daily activityAssist in preparing a monthly forecastAssist in preparing yearly Food and Beverage budgetAchieve budgeted revenues and control expenses accordinglyMaintain all safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for allEnsure that all outlet facilities are well-maintained and clean, and resolve or report all deficiencies to the appropriate departmentsEnsure pre-shift lineups are performed regularly for every associate in the FB OutletsPerform monthly associate meetings for all outlets, individually or combined and keep detailed notesPerform regular one-on-one meetings with all outlet associatesPromote teamwork and quality of execution by communication and collaboration with other relevant departments such as Sales and Marketing, Banquets, Culinary, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Engineering among othersWork closely with Human Resources to identify new team members and provide appropriate training and toolsPerform progressive disciplinary action if / when neededSonesta recognizes that benefits play a vital role in helping ensure the health and financial security of employees and their families.
