Title III Academic Advisor - WVU Potomac State College (Keyser)

Potomac State College (WVU Keyser), part of the West Virginia University system of campuses, located in Keyser, WV is seeking applications for a Title III Professional Advisor.

About the Opportunity

As the Title II Professional Advisor, you will Implement centralized and proactive advising model to undeclared FTF and prospective students, transfer students, and non-traditional students helping them choose a major, select classes, understand academic procedures, and set related career goals. You will work during the summer to meet with new students and / or returning students to help them develop and / or adjust their course schedules during advising events and for students enrolled in summer classes. You will monitors students' academic progress and provide proactive support in a nurturing environment that encourages student retention and completion.
