Our client is a successful, growing Collections Firm that is seeking a Paralegal to join their team. This is a newly created position as the organization continues to grow their Phoenix office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside the Head of Legal.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests / responses, proofs of claim, and bankruptcy petitions.Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support attorneys in litigation and bankruptcy matters.Manage case files and deadlines across litigation, collections, and bankruptcy dockets, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel , providing updates, requesting information, and coordinating hearings or depositions.Review and analyze financial documents (e.g., credit reports, payment histories, bankruptcy schedules) to support debt collection or bankruptcy strategies.Assist with trial and hearing preparation , including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and pretrial filings.QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program; bachelor's degree preferred.2–5 years of relevant experience in litigation, collections, or bankruptcy law, with demonstrated knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology.Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, Westlaw, PACER, or document management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and communication skills , with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
