We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Product Owner with at least 5 years of experience enhancing ServiceNow platforms. This role focuses on driving the development and optimization of SPM solutions to align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions.
This position is a hybrid schedule - onsite Monday - Wednesday, remote the remainder of the week.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, refining user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Enhance modules related to Demand, Resource, Enterprise Agile Platform (EAP), and Waterfall.
- Continuously improve dashboarding and reporting capabilities.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of SPM features from ideation through deployment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of current processes and system configurations.
- Manage testing plans for bi-annual platform upgrades.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and Scrum Masters to gather and translate requirements into actionable deliverables.Conduct product demos and collect feedback for iterative improvements.Technical Oversight
Provide subject matter expertise on ServiceNow SPM modules, including configuration, workflows, and customizations.Collaborate on technical designs and ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices.Lead testing efforts, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure high-quality deliverables.QualificationsExperience
Minimum 5 years working with the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on Strategic Portfolio Management.Preferred Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)Certified Implementation Specialist – SPMAgile certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist, or Kanban System DesignTechnical Skills
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow SPM modules including portfolio, demand, and resource management.Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC.Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and data analytics / reporting tools.Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with users to understand and translate needs into product requirements.Define and communicate the product vision.Develop and maintain a product roadmap.Oversee all stages of product development, from design to release.Create and manage user stories.Monitor and evaluate progress throughout the product lifecycle.Provide updates to stakeholders and participate in Scrum ceremonies and sprints.
