2026 Summer Internship -Marketing and Publicity Assistant (Nashville Hybrid) Job

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and PR Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative and fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to both marketing and public relations efforts. If you’re a strong communicator with a knack for organization and a love for market research, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Marketing Support
• Assist in designing and proofreading acquisitions decks and marketing plans to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand goals.
• Write and edit compelling content, including positioning statements, book hooks, ad copy, and sales conference points.
• Public Relations Support
• Draft press kits to support PR campaigns and book launches.
• Build and maintain media lists to ensure effective outreach and coverage.
• Mailing Coordination
• Assist with office mailings, including formatting mailing spreadsheets for Goodreads giveaways, ARC (Advance Reader Copy) mailings, and other promotional efforts.
• Market Research and Analysis
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
• Request and analyze trend reports, providing actionable insights to inform marketing and PR strategies.
• Collaboration and Organization
• Work closely with the marketing and PR teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
• Stay organized and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
