Job Description
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist manages various aspects of the HR function of an Eataly store including but not limited to : recruitment, onboarding, training, interpretation of policies, performance management, employee relations and terminations. Reports to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
Collaborates with the HRBP to deploy a fully integrated People strategy from acquisition to exitExecutes all aspects of the recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System : sources candidates; screens and selects candidates for advancement in the hiring process; coordinates interviews; collects feedback; manages candidate experience and follow upOrganizes in-store hiring events and participates in external job fairsProvides training to hiring managers on the Applicant Tracking System and effective interviewingPrepares employees for proper cultural assimilation through onboarding and new hire orientationServes as a fairness advocate and manages employee relations issues : conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counsels employees and supervisorsWorks with managers to make coaching and development of employees a daily activityCollaborates with Corporate to build and implement trainings for employeesDrives awareness and adoption of broad benefits offerings at EatalyConducts and analyzes exit interviews to identify and recommend improvements to existing processesEnsures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirementsSupports the HRBP with metrics and data analysisPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications
Bachelor's Degree3+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail and / or hospitalityUnderstanding of all components of HR including systems, databases and metricsSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, listening and interpersonal skillsFluency in Spanish, required.Able to work on-siteBenefits and Perks
