Qualifications :
Here's what you'll need :
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience generating Instrumentation and Controls design-related deliverables such as P&IDs, I / O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
Ideally, you'll also have :
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience related to semiconductor fabrication facilitiesExperience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specificationsField experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnelWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks softwareWorking knowledge of UL 508A for industrial control panel designFamiliarity with Siemens PLC systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsForward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsPassion for buildings and constructionOther Requirements : Location :
This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Boise, ID.The candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours, nominally 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, with some flexibility based on the ability of the site to support and employee preference.Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.Physical Requirements :
The position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. The applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Authorized to Work :
