Talent Acquisition Specialist II
The Talent Acquisition Specialist II is responsible for the sourcing, screening, and presentation of qualified candidates to meet Jackson's hiring needs. Responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating active and passive talent for opportunities with Jackson. The Talent Acquisition Specialist II consults with management to identify hiring needs, evaluates candidates against those requirements and provides hiring recommendations. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist II assists in developing and implementing recruitment strategies. This TA Specialist II role will be primarily focused on recruiting for Finance, Actuarial, Asset Management and Legal roles.
Essential responsibilities include :
- Performs full life cycle recruiting responsibilities which include : sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluating potential candidates.
- Partners with hiring managers to identify position requirements and develops / deploys tailored recruitment strategies.
- Identifies appropriate sourcing tools and techniques to meet recruitment needs.
- Develops passive and active candidate pipeline of talent for open requisitions.
- Screens candidates for alignment to requisition requirements, compensation, experience and fit.
- Effectively evaluates candidate experience, education, skills and fit based on the required skills of open requisitions.
- Presents candidates to hiring managers based on criteria used in the evaluation process.
- Effectively represents Jackson, its benefits and employment opportunities to candidates in the recruiting process.
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies.
Other duties include :

Strong understanding and proven ability related to the full life cycle recruiting process.Solid interviewing and candidate evaluation skills.Knowledge of a wide range of sourcing techniques, including traditional sourcing, use of social media / networking (e.g. LinkedIn), internet tools, professional associations, etc.Efficient time management skills with the ability to generate qualified candidates and fill positions within hiring expectations.Demonstrated ability to proactively identify hiring solutions for business needs.Ability to project a positive and professional image for Jackson.Strong verbal and written communication and consulting skills.Demonstrated ability in consistently delivering innovative and business focused Talent Acquisition strategies to fill open requisitions in a timely manner.Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships in complex environments.Solid organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Results oriented with the ability to consult and influence as appropriate.Qualifications include :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and education required.3+ years of experience in business facing recruiting in a corporate or search firm environment required.2+ years of experience recruiting for Finance, Actuarial, Asset Management and Legal roles preferred.2+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment preferred.Previous experience recruiting for technical and non-technical functions preferred.Experience with core applicant tracking systems required; experience with Workday preferred.Previous full life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment preferred.Behavioral based interview and candidate evaluation skills and experience preferred.Experience with a wide range of sourcing techniques and channels, including traditional sourcing, and social networking (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) preferred.
