Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a large hospital setting Care for patients experiencing high-risk pregnancies Night shift schedule, 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am, three 12-hour shifts per week Use of Epic EMR is required Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital Responsible for performing thorough patient assessments and providing direct patient care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum women Document patient care and education accurately following unit guidelines Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the use of emergency equipment and obstetric procedures Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care Follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality at all times All travelers may remain on assignment for up to one year before a 30-60 day break is required before returning Must be able to work within a multidisciplinary team environment Requirements Active RN license in NJ or compact state required and must be currently in hand Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience in large hospital settings with high-risk pregnancies Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, local candidates will not be considered Recent experience with Epic charting system required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625107.
