LHH is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. In this role, you will drive hands-on engineering work that directly elevates product quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85-95K per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for manufacturing operations.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure reliable performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions into production processes.
• Prepare technical documentation, schematics, and reports for ongoing projects.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for enhanced productivity.
• Support automation and process control initiatives within the facility.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance and production staff.
• Evaluate new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with procurement and specification of electrical components and materials.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Maintain accurate records of system modifications and upgrades.
