Total Rewards Analyst
The Total Rewards Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the daily administration of the company benefits program along with administering additional duties in compensation. This position will work closely and communicate with employees, vendors, and brokers and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee benefits and information. This position will be responsible for 50% Compensation related tasks and 50% Benefits related work.
Benefits Responsibilities :
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure accuracy of benefits enrollments and payroll deductions; resolve issues with benefit vendors; perform routine audits to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage the dependent eligibility verification process.
- Analyze benefits and leaves data and report trends to management.
- Assist employees with benefits questions, enrollment, and making changes for qualified life events.
- Manage the Employee Wellness program and communications.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices, payroll deductions, and general ledger. Analyze variances to the benefits budget.
- Perform the annual 401K nondiscrimination testing and audit.
- Assist with annual open enrollment period including preparation and distribution of materials, drafting communications, coordinating employee meetings, configuring, and testing enrollment tool.
- Act as a resource for Payroll / HR teams to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policies and regulations. Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend / implement solutions as appropriate.
- Partner with leave management vendor; overseeing and administering the entire Leave of Absence process, particularly leaves arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, short-term medical leave or long-term disability plans.
- Serve as primary contact for worker's compensation claims; coordinate with vendors to ensure timely processing of claims and assist employees with questions and any related issues.
- Assist with annual audit of ERISA benefit plans including but not limited to providing related enrollment, census, and plan participation reports.
- Serve as the system benefit administrator for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) including troubleshooting and resolving issues, configuring system processes, implementing new functionalities and system upgrades.
- Conduct research and prepare management reports for HR programs, benefit activities, and wellness challenges.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Compensation Responsibilities :
Assist Compensation team with the yearly bonus and merit processes.Ability to distinguish and explain best pay practices.Ensures compliance within compensation guidelines, budgets, pay equity, FLSA classifications, etc. and tracks regulatory changes and trends.Effectively communicates with stakeholders regarding the results of analyses and provides consultation regarding compensation best practices.Ensures job descriptions are accurate and complete when roles and / or structures change and organize annual review of Job Descriptions.Manage day to day compensation responsibilities in regards to company offers and requisition requests.Contribute to strategic planning around market analysis, yearly market range updates, and cost analysis.Required Qualifications :
3+ years' experience in Benefits and / or HR Operations3+ years' experience in CompensationDemonstrated knowledge of health and welfare plans, life and disability insurance plans, and retirement plansMust be proficient in ExcelAbility to work with sensitive and confidential data with a demonstrated practice of maintaining employee confidentiality and HIPAA compliance requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate, develop partnerships, and encourage trust in employees, team members, leaders, and vendorsStrong organization skills, attention to detail, and follow-through to resolve any outstanding issues or meet deadlinesStrong time management skills within a remote work environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experienceWorkday HRIS system experience highly desiredModerate knowledge of WorkdayBase Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $75,000 - $95,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate's experience, location, and qualifications.
