Are you a board-certified anesthesiologist looking for an exciting opportunity? ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking dedicated professionals to provide full-time locum tenens coverage in a vibrant hospital setting in Northern New York , starting in December 2025 . This is your chance to make a significant impact while enjoying a supportive work environment!

In this dynamic position, you will :

  • Supervise CRNAs while also performing anesthesia cases yourself.
  • Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients across a diverse case mix, including orthopedics, urology, and ophthalmology.
  • Receive full reimbursement for travel and lodging to make your transition seamless.

Key Details

  • Start Date : December 2025 (as soon as credentialed)
  • Schedule : Full-time
  • Reason for Opening : Open slot in current schedule

    • Your Responsibilities

  • Practice Setting : Hospital-based (Samaritan Hospital & St. Peter's Health Partners)
  • CRNA Supervision : Required; enjoy a daily mix of your own cases and supervision.
  • MD : CRNA Ratio : 1 : 3 or 1 : 4
  • Number of ORs : 8
  • Patient Demographics : Primarily geriatric; limited pediatrics (dental, eyes only)
  • Case Mix : Orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, endoscopy
  • EMR System : Epic

    • Required Procedures

  • Spinal anesthesia
  • Epidural anesthesia
  • Regional anesthesia

    • What You Need to Succeed

  • Board Certification : Required (Anesthesiology)
  • Licensure : Active New York State license at time of submission
  • Certifications :

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Required
