Controller

Symple  Lending  is  an  innovative  fintech  company  committed  to  revolutionizing  the  lending  industry. Our mission is to provide seamless, efficient, and accessible lending solutions.  We  are  looking  for a Controller to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting  and  financial  operations.

This  is  a  high-impact,  hands-on  role  with  an opportunity to help build  the financial backbone of our organization.    What You’ll be Doing :

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.  Oversee cash management including reconciliations, daily cash flow monitoring, and reporting.  Prepare financial statements and internal reports for leadership to support decision-making.  Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and projections to guide company growth.  Work closely with the external CPA firm on tax filings, compliance, and audits.  Maintain and improve internal accounting systems, processes, and controls.  Support the CEO and leadership team with financial insights and recommendations.  Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable industry regulations.   What You’ll Bring :   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).  5–7+ years of progressive accounting / finance experience, including Controller-level or senior accountant experience.  Strong hands-on experience in AP / AR, reconciliations, cash management, and forecasting.   Prior experience working with external CPA firms on tax preparation and audits.    Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Excel.   Experience in fintech, debt settlement, or financial services is a plus.   Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, scaling company environment.   Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work directly with executive leadership.  What We Offer :   Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.  401(k) retirement plan.
