American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and Level I trauma experience for a 13-week acute care assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a Level I trauma acute care cardiac cath labUnit has 3 main rooms, 1 dedicated EP room, and 1 hybrid room for vascular and cardiac casesHandles interventional, EP lab, peripheral, cardiology, vascular, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and Emtala casesCase load ranges from 10 to 25 per dayUses Cerner and Xper EMR systems; experience with both preferredUses Philips and Siemens equipment for proceduresShift is 12-hour days with call required 8-12 days per monthHoliday rotation is requiredTwo-day floor-specific orientation provided50-mile radius rule applies to candidate eligibilityDuties include circulating and scrubbing for a variety of cardiac and vascular interventions and electrophysiology proceduresWorking alongside a dedicated charge nurse and rad tech teamNo travel teams with Cath Lab RNs are used in this unitScrubs are provided for this positionMust maintain a 30-minute call response timePharmacy and RT available 24 / 7No IV team presentReturning candidates may not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience requiredLevel I trauma experience required; busy Level II experience consideredActive ARRT and BLS certifications requiredAZ MRTBE CRT state license requiredAbility to scrub and circulate cases as a Rad TechLicense required if applicableActive state license must be verified at the time of consideration; pending licenses not acceptedMust provide a copy of driver’s licenseMust submit 2 professional references, one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years\n Benefits\n
