Staff Accountant
As the Staff Accountant, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the accounting and finance function. Reporting into the Controller, this individual will learn and assist with the corporate month-end close process, while also handling any ad hoc special projects to drive the business forward. In addition, you will also have a clear and fast track progression to become the Senior Accountant!
Job Description
Staff Accountant Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with international accounting standards.
- Provide insights into financial performance and variances to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee general ledger accounts and ensure proper classification of transactions.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to optimize manufacturing processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of production costs.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to department heads.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
- Streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to gather information and support decision-making. Provide financial expertise to support business initiatives and projects.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization and / or public accounting firmStrong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards.Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer
