Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Contract Attorney to support a prestigious law firm client with a strong presence in the real estate development sector. This long-term contract opportunity requires active North Carolina licensure and direct experience in homebuilding and residential real estate development

Location : Raleigh, NC (Hybrid – Flexible weekly onsite schedule required)

Schedule : 35–40 hours / week on average – must be available during regular business hours

Compensation : $65–$85 / hour, DOE

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, lot contracts, and closing documents for residential developments.
• Review and resolve title and survey issues to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
• Prepare and revise homeowners association documents, easement agreements, and other development-related legal instruments.
• Provide legal support for land acquisition, site development, and community governance structures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of real estate transactions.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in contract language and legal documentation.
• Guide zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance matters related to residential construction and development.
• Support legal operations related to property management, construction agreements, and real estate closings.

$65.00 to $85.00 per hour
