A prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate Attorney to join their nationally recognized Environmental & Land Use Practice Group in Washington, DC . This position offers the opportunity to advise leading corporations and institutions on complex environmental compliance, enforcement, and remediation matters under federal and state laws.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with e xcellent academic credentials
• Active Bar Admission in the District of Columbia , in good standing
• 5–7 years of substantive experience in environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement matters
• Deep familiarity with the Comprehensive Environmental Response , Compensation , and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
• Experience with hazardous , solid , medical , pharmaceutical , and / or controlled substance waste issues is preferred
• Soft skills : Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment
