We are looking for an experienced Union Payroll Specialist to join our team in Lewisville, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee payroll processing for union employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with union regulations and prevailing wage requirements. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of union payroll procedures, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and transparency.

Responsibilities :

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 1,000 union employees across multiple states, adhering to state-specific requirements and union regulations.
• Ensure accurate payroll calculations for non-exempt employees, including per diem payments and prevailing wage compliance.
• Utilize Vista Trimble software for efficient payroll processing and ticket management.
• Review and reconcile payroll data to maintain accuracy and compliance with union standards.
• Prepare and submit union-specific reports using systems such as union trackers.
• Support field teams by explaining payroll-related issues using union terminology and craft classifications.
• Analyze payroll data using advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to identify inconsistencies and ensure proper withholding.
• Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Stay updated on union-related policies and wage requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for union employees.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and prevailing wage requirements.
• Proficiency in using Vista Trimble or similar payroll systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and forms functions.
• Familiarity with union-specific terminology and reporting systems.
• Ability to process payroll for over 500 employees with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively support field teams and address payroll-related inquiries.
