Join our Heavy Industry team as a Machine Repair Technician I. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our essential production machinery. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various industrial machinery.
- Assist senior technicians with complex troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to aid in repairs.
- Execute rebuilds of pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic cylinders and valves under supervision.
- Support the maintenance of air compressors, wells, water pumps, and emission systems.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Utilize basic computer skills for work order entry and completion in our maintenance system.
- Maintain and troubleshoot general plant equipment as needed for continuous operation.
- Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by following all related work instructions.
Recommended Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED.1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout / Tagout.Ability to provide own personal hand tools.Preferred Qualifications :
Technical certification or associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related discipline.Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Basic welding or automatic torch cutting experience.Ability to obtain forklift and / or man-lift licenses.Roles That Should Apply :
