What You'll Do

• Direct and coordinate nursing care, overseeing both licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Engage patients, families, and health team members in care planning and discharge processes.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care plans.
• Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Orient new staff members and act as a point of contact for hospital policies.
• Contribute to daily operational activities ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Provide input to the Nurse Manager on unit needs and participate in committees for policy formulation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
