Inventory Analyst

Conduct daily analysis on OI / SPW / PSH rotation, provide data to Inventory Manager / Op. 4. Analyze and report on errant inventory transactions / inventory variance. Conduct checks of fresh inventory at / near expiration - work with Sales / Matl Mang. Ensure proper inventory movements / handling of Sleeper Inventory. Special Projects as assigned. Inter-Departmental Inventory Responsibilities Reverse Logistics set up, direction, & communication regarding consumption in Operations depts. Communication / facilitation with Inventory Manager / Op. 4 of QA / Operations product pull requests. Execute inventory status changes as requested by QA and Sales (including offsite). Facilitate the execution of inventory movements to inedible / tank with manager. Work with Cost Accounting to reconcile production related discrepancies of FG inventory. Interpreting Results Analyze & interpret cycle count data - provide recommendations based on analysis. Investigate root causes of waste / scrap (mis-rotation, product mis-handling, etc). Weekly investigation into top inventory write offs / ons - report root cause analysis to Inventory Manager. Analyze departmental activity to ensure compliance to proper inventory practices within the warehouse. Order fill analysis - interpret shortage data, draw root cause conclusions - report findings to manager. Administrative Responsibilities Daily creation of OI / PSH list - provide to Op. 4 for execution. Compilation / interpretation of cycle count sheets - record information in KPI file. Execution of Hold / Release emails from QA. Communication of product pull requests to Op. 4 for execution.
