We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Automotive Service Manager to lead our award-winning service department. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations—including workflow efficiency, technician productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who can coach and inspire a high-performing team while maintaining a culture rooted in accountability, excellence, and superior guest experience. Key Responsibilities : Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure optimal performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Lead, mentor, and motivate Service Advisors, Technicians, and Support Staff to meet department objectives and performance standards. Manage financial and operational metrics, including CSI, ELR, gross profit, and hours per RO. Develop and implement strategies to drive customer retention, service sales growth, and efficiency improvements. Ensure timely and accurate communication between the service team, parts department, and management. Handle customer escalations and resolve complex service concerns with professionalism and empathy. Maintain compliance with all dealership policies, Ford Motor Company guidelines, and federal / state regulations. Monitor warranty claims, service procedures, and repair order accuracy to protect dealership interests. Partner with the Fixed Operations Director and leadership team to achieve departmental goals and identify opportunities for improvement. Job Requirement : High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or automotive management preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in dealership service management or leadership roles. Proven record of success in driving profitability, CSI improvement, and team performance. Deep understanding of dealership operations, manufacturer programs, and compliance standards. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS), scheduling, and reporting tools. Strong analytical ability to interpret financial statements and performance metrics. Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of guest service. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Working Conditions : Fast-paced dealership environment with frequent interaction across departments. Regular standing, walking, and movement throughout the service facility. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on operational needs.
