ConnectedHR is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Human Resources Director Consultant (part-time) to join our dynamic, award-winning team.
This is not a side gig or contract / 1099 role — it is a W2 employee opportunity with a consistent, ongoing schedule, onsite at client locations during normal business hours.

What You'll Do
- Provide strategic HR consulting to clients of varying sizes and industries.
- Advise business owners and senior leadership on complex HR issues.
- Roll up your sleeves as a working consultant - strategic and hands-on.
- Create and implement HR strategies, policies, and training programs.
- Navigate employment laws and HR best practices with confidence.
- Engage employees and leaders to influence culture and drive performance.
- Collaborate with the ConnectedHR and ConnectedTALENT teams to share knowledge and support peers.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner (HRBP) experience; prior consulting experience is a plus.Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification (SPHR / SHRM-SCP), strongly preferred.High emotional intelligence, exceptional communication skills, and solid business acumen.Ability to travel locally to client sites throughout the Cleveland, OH, metro area.A professional, confident presence with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.Proven expertise across core HR disciplines, including :Strategic Business PlanningPolicy Development & ComplianceLeadership Development & Succession PlanningPerformance ManagementHRM / HRIS systems and implementationEmployee Relations & Workplace InvestigationsCompensation & Benefits StrategyOnboarding & Recruitment Strategy ImplementationEmployment laws and regulations (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.)Perks of Consulting with ConnectedHR
