Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Set up, start up, and run four-slide machines and related tooling.
• Set up, start up, and run automatic power presses (progressive and compound dies).
• Selection and / or preparation of cams, forming tools, dies, and tool blocks for both four-slide and power press operations.
• Prepare acceptable first piece samples; perform in-process inspections and record measurements.
• Troubleshoot and adjust tooling, feeds, and alignments to ensure product conformance.
• Maintain production flow and accuracy while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Teardown machines, perform routine maintenance, and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Provide assistance across the factory as needed, including inspection, sampling, tooling, and supporting other machine operations.

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in four-slide and / or power press setup and operation.

Strong ability to read blueprints, job orders, and part specifications.

Proficiency with measuring and inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators).

Physical Examination by an appointed Lee Spring Doctor.

Ability to lift or carry minimum 40 lbs.
