About The Position

Job Title : ER Registered Nurse

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse.

The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts.

The scheduled hours are from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

The patient ratios are 4 : 1 for ED patients and 6 : 1 for boarders.

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

No call is required for this position.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The facility does not require floating between units.

Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

All time off requests must be included at the time of application.

The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.

The Emergency Room will provide care to a diverse patient population.

Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and clinical skills.

The role involves managing different emergency situations efficiently.

The facility will be fully operational to provide 24 / 7 emergency services.

Staff will use EPIC for charting and documentation.

Compliance with facility protocols and procedures is expected.

COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but the flu vaccination is mandatory with exemptions considered.

Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season.

All candidates should be prepared to manage a variety of patient conditions.

Candidates with prior charge experience are preferred but not required.
