Translator-Spanish

Overview

The Translator will provide translation services for individuals with language barriers. Translation will consist of but not limited to Education, Legal, Medical, Environmental, and Social Services, etc.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

• Accurately translate lectures, conversations, meetings, medical and / or legal contexts.
• Remain HIPAA compliant when interpreting or translating in a healthcare setting.
• Abide by the client's policies.
• Abide by the American Translators Association Code of Ethics.
• Render a complete and accurate translation without altering, omitting, adding, or explaining the original content.
• Be sensitive to the culture of the source and target languages during translation.
• Other duties as assigned.
