Maintenance Engineer in Charge

Description

• Takes on full responsibility for setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of an F&F unit. Fully in charge of the assigned unit.
• Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit.
• Track and report equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
• Work with fellow engineers in the repair and maintenance of mobile unit ensuring follow through on repairs, inventory, and updates.
• Provide guidance to maintenance engineers
• Solves broadcast issues as they come up. Fully meets the client's needs / requests.
• Flexibility and availability to work when needed : including days, evenings, holidays and weekends. Extensive travel nationally.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The following physical requirements are typical, but not all inclusive : good eyesight and hearing, manual dexterity, standing and sitting for long periods of time, calm under pressure, ability to travel and occasionally for extended periods. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
