About the Role :

The Director of Marketing is responsible for advancing Prospera Credit Union's competitive position by building brand identity, driving member growth, increasing share of wallet, and ensuring alignment with the credit union's mission, vision, and guiding principles. This role oversees the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies-including digital, traditional, and community engagement-that enhance awareness, strengthen member relationships, and support business objectives. The Director leads the marketing team and collaborates across departments to deliver a consistent, data-driven, and member-focused experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Establish and manage the Prospera brand identity internally and externally, ensuring alignment with culture, mission, vision and guiding principles.

Lead digital marketing strategy, including paid digital, SEO / SEM, email marketing, and social media.

Direct all advertising and promotional campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

Lead, mentor, and develop the Marketing Coordinator by providing coaching, training, and growth opportunities.

Implement public relations strategies that complement marketing efforts.

Ensure initial compliance with statutes and regulations related to marketing.

Qualifications & Skills :

Expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and emerging technologies.
