job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvides HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting. Provides general building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, ground maintenance, general building maintenance, and painting. Keeps maintenance log as required. Keeps maintenance supervisor advised of equipment spare parts needed. Coordinates with department supervisors when machines must be taken offline for maintenance. Works on high voltage electrical equipment and wiring to perform repair and installations. Oversees contractor work for facility modification and repair. Is trained and works in compliance with all plant and departmental standard operating procedures and safety procedures. Maintains plant safety systems so that they are operational. May assist in maintenance duties at other LHB locations. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge of electronics, electrical services, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC required. Strong knowledge of general mechanics and machine operations. Knowledge of aerosols and liquid filling preferred. Knowledge of high voltage services required. Technical School Graduate (Maintenance Management or equivalent 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing equipment / building repairs and line set-up. Experience with aerosol production a plus. Process logic controls / electronic expertise a plus. Project management experience a plus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Observes and follows safety regulations and displays the ability to always perform job functions in a safe manner. Manufacturing facility. Indoor / outdoor work. Hot / cold depending on weather. May require work on rooftop, depending on project need
