ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Welder builds healthy communities through play and recreation by safely welding metal parts together using specified wire welding processes to produce high quality assemblies. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Requires a broad knowledge of welding. The welding requirements may vary widely depending on the job being offered, this could include that some positions may be on the job for entry-level positions. Higher-level welder positions may require years of formal education in vocational or technical schools or colleges. Some welder positions require a general welding certification or a certificate in a specialty such as robotic welding.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to speak effectively with employees of the organization. Read and interpret blueprints.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Measure and cut materials to meet the specifications of the project.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.

The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
