Description : Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Furnace Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that breakdown furnaces and product used in remelt furnaces, bull ladles, and rotary de gas machines are maintained correctly. The role requires a positive mental attitude, the ability to perform repeated tasks, and the ability to pass an annual vision exam for operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain breakdown furnaces and product used in remelt furnaces, bull ladles, and rotary de gas machines.
  • Ensure that alloy temperatures are within control limits to prevent bad castings and machine stoppage.
  • Clean furnaces properly to prevent premature equipment failure.
  • Perform missed operations such as de gas to prevent defect product being produced.
  • Report to the Die Cast Supervisor and the Lead Furnace Operator Aluminum.
  • Work with minor supervision.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in furnace maintenance or a related field.
  • Good Work Attendance - Dependable
  • Ability to perform repeated tasks.
  • Positive mental attitude.

    • Specific / Technical knowledge Required : Forklift certification by Production Castings.
