Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and experience with solar panel installation. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage connections.
• Conduct fixture installations and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues during installation and provide solutions as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar electrical role, preferably with commercial electrician experience.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, and NEC regulations.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.

Experience with roofing techniques related to solar panel installation is preferred.

Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.

Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.

Previous experience in plumbing is a plus but not required.
