About The Position

Must-Have : Travel experience preferred; first-timers accepted

Description :

Cath Lab Tech position available.

ARRT certification is required.

An IL license is necessary, though it can be pending.

The caseload averages 5 cases with 2 rooms utilized.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Travel experience is preferred, but first-timers will be considered.

Weekend requirements are not applicable.

Call is required for approximately 12 days per month, including 1-2 weekends.

Candidates will not float outside their scope to meet facility needs.

The management will consider accommodating block schedules at their discretion.

Locals are not accepted; there is a 70-mile radius restriction.

Pending licenses are acceptable.

Requests for time off are limited to one request per contract.

If confirmed for 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, a minimum of 40 hours per week will be guaranteed.

If confirmed for 3x12 shifts, 36 hours per week will be guaranteed.

If confirmed for 4x12 shifts, 48 hours per week will be guaranteed.

The facility may call off travelers a maximum of 24 hours for 8-hour shifts, 30 hours for 10-hour shifts, or 36 hours for 12-hour shifts without compensation for canceled hours.

This position does not require neuro or interventional radiology experience.

Typical cases include left / right heart catheterizations, pacemaker / ICD implantations, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions.

Scrubs are provided for the unit.

The required charting system is Epic.

Candidates must have skills in accurate monitoring, cardiac interventions, and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
