We are seeking a Lead Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of mechanical, structural, and thermal systems for hydrogen generation systems. The role focuses on ensuring complete system functionality, performance, and compliance with engineering and industry standards.
Job Title : Lead Design Engineer
Location : East Hartford, CT (Onsite)
Client : Quest Global / HyAxiom
Experience Required : 7 to 10 Years
Employment Type : W2 Only (No sub-contractors)
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop mechanical components from concept to production
- Lead integration of piping, structural, and thermal subsystems
- Perform design analysis including FEA, CFD, and hand calculations
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and installation teams
- Ensure designs comply with standards such as ASME, ASTM, ISO
- Mentor junior engineers and support career development
- Estimate costs and timelines for installation and service
