LHH is seeking an experienced Medical Biller for our client in the South Loop (Chicago). This is a contract position to assist with a backlog of billing and collections. Please apply if you have Illinois Medicaid billing / collections experience!
Job title : Medical Biller
Job type : Contract, 3-4 months
Pay rate : $23-25 / hour
Hours : Monday - Friday, 8A-5P
Location : Chicago, IL 60616 - South Loop - fully onsite
Responsibilities :
Performing initial medical billing and charge entry, specifically for Medicaid
Use Nextgen EMR system
Handling denials and appeals, collections for Medicaid-only claims
Posting of payments as needed
Qualifications :
2+ years of Illinois Medical Billing / Collections experience (required)
Experience with Medicaid (required)
Nextgen software experience (preferred)
Ability to complete full contract duration
