Job Description
This role is critical in ensuring Benefits processes run effectively, system issues are resolved promptly, and enhancements are delivered to support business operations. The resource will work closely with AMS, business stakeholders, Payroll, and HR teams to stabilize and advance Benefits functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Configuration & System Management
Configure and maintain Oracle Benefits modules, including plan types, rates, eligibility profiles, enrollment rules, and other core setups.
Manage updates to Benefits interfaces, remittance reports, and eligibility processes (e.g., 26-week measure).
Support ongoing stabilization and optimization of Benefits-related processes.
Issue Resolution & Support
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve Benefits-related incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
Work directly with Oracle Support (SRs) to escalate and resolve system defects.
Validate system configuration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business requirements.
Enhancements & Projects
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs and system solutions.
Support implementation of enhancements such as new benefit plans, journeys, and transitioning existing payroll organizations to non-payroll orgs who only subscribe to benefits and not payroll.
Lead and participate in system testing, including test script development, execution, and validation for patches, quarterly Oracle upgrades, and new features.
Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer
Partner with Payroll, HR, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of Benefits processes across modules.
Provide functional expertise, training, and knowledge transfer to AMS team members.
Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new Benefits processes and system features.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure system configuration aligns with regulatory requirements, collective agreements, and organizational policies.
Develop, validate, and maintain Benefits reports to support operations, audits, and compliance (e.g., remittances, eligibility reporting)..
Skills / Qualifications
10+ years of experience in supporting and delivering HCM SaaS applications, including EBS and Fusion Cloud solutions.
Expertise in HCM modules, specifically Benefits.
Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), XML Publisher, ORDS services, and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
Strong understanding of Fusion quarterly updates, best practices for feature adoption, testing, and change management.
Deep knowledge of roles, security, and Oracle implementation best practices, covering solution design, configuration, testing, and post-production support.
Experience in pre-sales activities, technical proposal writing, and advisory roles for Oracle Cloud ERP and Payroll solutions.
Skilled in troubleshooting, requirement gathering, CRP workshops, fast formula writing, parallel payroll run strategy, and execution.
Ability to design and develop Oracle cloud solutions, integrating innovative proposals into mature solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, creative, and resilient mindset with a strong commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
You are an undergraduate or higher-level degree(s) holder or having an equivalent work experience will be considered too.
Qualifications & Skills
Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits configuration and support.
Strong knowledge of Benefits administration, eligibility rules, interfaces, and compliance requirements.
Experience with Oracle HDL (HCM Data Loader) and reporting tools (OTBI / BI Publisher).
Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you are a guru, with strong expertise across the stack & tiers (application and system), focused in the creation and management of business solutions using Oracle technology, the operations surrounding it, and the Oracle services infrastructure needed to achieve the highest service levels (e.g., availability, performance, etc.) and consequent high customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for setting overall technology direction for key areas to invest resources in, building internal expertise and leveraging knowledge within the Support organization. You will be expected to resolve and help guide resolution of multiple highly difficult and complex problems and escalations involving several product areas, while providing consultation to senior technical advisors on projects, reviewing their work and advising areas for self-advancement.
Ability to be a technical team leader and coach team members in relevant skills. Finding ways to recognize the contributions of others in the team.
Assess and analyze customers business needs to make sure that Oracle solutions meets the customer's objectives.
Assist customers in their overall Journey to Cloud.
Ensure Oracle cloud technologies are leveraged appropriately using best practices.
Be the Oracle Solution Delivery authority to ensure that customers make informed decisions regarding scope to achieve beneficial solutions cost effectiveness, quality, and reusability.
Providing technical guidance on Oracle cloud and / or on-premise solutions to customer and other Oracle team members to underpin successful delivery.
Support solutions around multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
Ensure successful handover from Implementation toward operations making sure the implemented solution will fit the customer requirements.
Maintain the Oracle Solution to make sure the customer demands needs will be met. Platforms for Oracle solutions are on premise, cloud or hybrid running various workloads (application, middleware, database and infrastructure).
Working closely with the Technical Account Manager to ensure that the individual work streams are technically well managed.
Be the main contact for new business opportunities by supporting our presales team. Identifies and promotes opportunities for sales of Oracle products and services to support business growth.
Actively lead and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives.

US : Hiring Range in USD from $46.30 to $95.91 per hour; from : $96,300 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
