job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location to support a secure environment. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Tech Site - Full Time in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
