Director Site Engineering
Lead engineering, facilities, utilities, capital project execution and maintenance support for the site. Provide short and long range capital project planning and execution. Act as a liaison between the site and functions outside the site such as Division, Corporate, government agencies and other groups. Serve as a member of the site senior staff leadership team.

In collaboration with key business functions, innovate and execute maintenance & engineering solutions that deliver productivity, quality and efficiencies that meet and exceed cost improvement targets.
Attract, develop and retain a diverse qualified staff through effective training, succession planning strategies and ongoing performance feedback. Drive a culture of engagement and inclusivity throughout the organization through clear communication, collaboration and recognition.
Design site long-range and short-range capital plans ensuring site is equipped with the infrastructure needed to meet or exceed capacity objectives. Monitors quality of implementation against overall project / program / site objectives.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all functions of the organization and resolves cross-functional challenges while influencing these functions to create the best possible solution for Abbott.
Ensure compliance to all applicable business policies, laws and regulations, inclusive of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, and processes. Interface with internal and external regulatory agencies and government officials.
Establish short and long-range engineering, facilities, utilities and maintenance strategic objectives for the site. Fosters an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage contractors and vendors executing work at the site.
Manage the financial performance of the department in accordance with the planned budgets and develop strategies for cost improvement. Manage site capital and project expense plan.
Ensure utilities are provided to site operations at all times.
10+ years experience supporting manufacturing is required.
10+ years Experience in key engineering disciplines including process, instrumentation & controls, facilities, utilities, and equipment is required.
5+ years People Leadership experience
Experience with the regulatory standards and requirements for a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

The base pay for this position is $147,300.00 $294,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
