About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Epic Prelude Analyst to support our healthcare client with ongoing system build, optimization, and end-user support. This role requires strong functional and technical expertise in Epic Prelude, as well as hands-on experience working with patient registration, ADT workflows, and integration with other Epic modules such as Cadence and Resolute. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the client location , collaborating directly with operational and technical teams to ensure smooth system performance and workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced support and configuration for Epic Prelude, including registration, patient movement, and ADT processes.Analyze, design, build, test, and implement solutions to meet business and clinical requirements.Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and translate operational needs into system functionality.Coordinate with other Epic module teams (Cadence, Resolute, HIM, etc.) to ensure integrated workflows.Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Participate in upgrade planning, testing, and deployment.Provide onsite support during go-lives, system enhancements, or workflow transitions.Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system build, configuration, and change requests.Train and assist end users to ensure efficient system utilization.Qualifications
Epic Prelude Certification required.Minimum 3 years of Epic Prelude build / support experience in a healthcare setting.Strong understanding of ADT, registration workflows, and patient movement processes.Experience with integrated workflows between Prelude and other Epic modules.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Willingness and ability to work onsite at the client facility as required.Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Epic Cadence or Resolute modules.Prior participation in Epic implementation or upgrade projects.Background in healthcare IT consulting or hospital operations.Seniority level
