About The Role

Range is hiring for an AI Engineer to accelerate our best-in-class AI system that delivers and automates financial products and solutions across the entire wealth management spectrum. This engineer will work with our AI team to both build and strategically influence the technology that ultimately powers Range's disruptive platform.

The ideal candidate has experience designing and deploying production-grade AI systems that are reliable, scalable, and aligned with real-world customer needs. As an AI engineer, you will lead efforts across the entire AI ecosystemfrom data strategy and model fine tuning to deployment and monitoringwhile working closely with product and engineering teams. You will help define our AI roadmap, set technical direction, and build systems that are both technically robust and grounded in our product philosophy. You will also collaborate with other technical leaders to elevate the company's AI and engineering standards.

We're excited to hire this role at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA, or one of our hub locations in New York City, or Seattle. All of our positions follow an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, allowing you to collaborate directly with the team. What You'll Do With Us

• Improve the accuracy, reliability, and sophistication of our AI-generated responses by iterating on models, prompts, and evaluation frameworks
• Partner with product and engineering teams to design and develop new AI-first features that help users make better financial decisions
• Help shape our data strategy, including how we collect, label, and leverage structured and unstructured data to train and evaluate models
• Bring modern best practices in applied AI and machine learning to the team, and help us stay at the frontier as the AI landscape evolves
