Electrical - Controls Engineer

JDI Contracts Inc. is hiring an Electrical – Controls Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in engineering, process control, and Rockwell PLC programming. This role supports electrical and process design, project planning, construction, and maintenance for industrial facilities. AutoCAD skills and a BSEE (or equivalent) are required; EIT / PE and ETAP experience are preferred. Compensation includes a base salary of $80K–$125K, bonuses, overtime, 25 days PTO, 401k match, and full travel per diem. Total compensation is valued at $120K–$175K. Requirements

JDI Contracts Inc. is looking for an Electrical – Controls Engineer with 5-10 years of related engineering experience.

This position will support electrical and process design, construction, startup and maintenance efforts. Roles include project development and planning; electrical, instrument, and process engineering; drawing preparations and review, issues documentation and resolution, design and design review, field verification, work package assembly and management; field quality assurance / control, documant management, reporting, scheduling, budgeting, takeoffs, and other tasks as required.

Base / Minimum Qualifications :

5-10 years in a related engineering position.

Process control and Rockwell PLC programming experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Up to 15 years in a related position.

Process control design and Rockwell PLC programming experience.

Electrical systems modeling and fluency in ETAP software.

Microsoft Project and / or Prima Vera scheduling software experience.

Certifications Required or Preferred :

BSEE or equivalent 4-year degree with a focus on electrical or electronics engineering with controls focus.

EIT and / or PE preferred but not required.

Compensation Details (Salary Range, Reimbursed Expenses etc.) :

Base salary range of $80k-125k depending on education, prior experience, software skills and training.

Overtime pay for billable work.

25 days PTO, 6% 401k match, medical and dependent benefits, work from home available.

Based on expected field assignments this overall compensation package is valued between $120k-175k.

Full per diem for travel assignments.
