SALARY : $70,000 - $90,000 - DOE

URGENCY : ASAP

SUMMARY : Our client is seeking a talented and driven Commercial Senior Interior Designer with over 5 years of experience in contract commercial furniture. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic environment, collaborates effectively, pays close attention to detail, and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on balancing multiple priorities while contributing to a team-focused culture.

Duties

Support all phases of interior design projects, from initial concept to final completion

Execute space planning, furniture selection, and product specification

Create compelling client presentations, including finish palettes and design boards

Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, project management, and operations teams

Produce detailed drawings and documentation for proposals and installations

Assist in pricing and proposal development

Address design and project challenges with creativity and efficiency

Ensure design solutions align with client goals, building codes, and budget constraints

Mentor and guide junior designers to foster team growth and development

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract commercial furniture design

Proficient in space planning and commercial furniture solutions

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Skilled at managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Software Proficiency

AutoCAD (must have)

CET Designer (must have)

Adobe Acrobat
