Job Title : Production Technician I (Temp-to-Perm)
Location : Watertown, CT
Shift : First Shift
Pay Rate : $22–$23 per hour
Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician I for a Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Watertown. This role involves processing, packaging, and assembling parts using hand tools and automated machinery. Work may be performed independently or collaboratively while following safety protocols and standardized instructions to maintain quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform repetitive tasks including cleaning, deburring, assembling, counting, bagging, and boxing parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
Use basic computer skills for production tracking and verification.
Report machine or process issues and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Assist team members as needed and follow company safety procedures.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division, fractions, metric conversions).
Able to work independently and in a team.
Familiarity with safety guidelines, 6S organization, and quality standards.
Physical Requirements :
Lift / move up to 25 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Sit or stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and use hands / fingers continuously.
Work Environment :
Manufacturing shop setting with exposure to chemicals, noise, and odors.
May rotate between workstations depending on production needs.

Pay Details : $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
