Title - Sales Development Representative
Location - 1233 W Monroe Street, Chicago, IL (ONSITE)
Responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. They must research potential clients, connect with (via cold calls & email) and educate prospects,. and qualify leads before handing them off to the sales team.
Responsibilities :
- Lead management and proactive outbound prospecting
- Develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers
- Generate appointments by means of lead activity management
- Market company’s solutions to potential customers
- Work with the marketing to discover opportunities from various leads resources
- Set up appointments
- Track and maintain customer contact information and outreach schedule
- Attend customer meetings as required
- Participate in sales meetings, local trade shows, and vendor training in order to maintain up to date knowledge.
Requirements :
2+ Years Experience as a Sales Representative, AE, or similar roleHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)Track record of achieving sales quotasFamiliarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)Understanding of sales performance metricsMust have the ability to interact and communicate with individuals across the organizationUnderstanding of workflow systems of the organization, and their various applications to the improvement of customer business processesSet up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account ExecutivesReport to Sales Director on (weekly / monthly / quarterly) sales results
